Our Mission
At Jackson Peter Ward Strong, our mission is to provide comprehensive support and comfort to parents of newborns who have undergone an unexpected life flight to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We understand the overwhelming emotions and challenges that come with such critical circumstances. We believe that no parent should face the NICU journey alone.. We are here to offer strength, hope, and a sense of community, ensuring that parents can focus on what matters most: the well-being of their newborn.
Why NICU Survival Kits?
We had NO clue that the NICU staff in a hospital cannot care for a mom or a dad who has been sent on a life flight. (It makes sense now but we were NOT prepared.)
They cannot give a dad who has been sent unexpectedly a tooth brush, or toothpaste. Nor can they provide a mom with pads, or breast pads even though she just gave birth - because she delivered at a different hospital.
And remember - if you flew you don't have a car to go to the store for daily necessities. That's where we come in!

YOU HAVE GOT TO BRING YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF INTO THE WORLD. YOU'VE GOT TO FIGHT TO DO IT. AND WHEN YOU GO TO TRY TO DO IT - THE WORLD MAY SH** ON YOU, BUT I DON'T CARE. DON'T LET ANYBODY TURN DOWN YOUR SHINE - KEEP IT UP AT ELEVEN. ALWAYS AND FOREVER.
